British racecar driver Lewis Hamilton and Japanese artist Takashi Murakami have dropped the second collection for Hamilton’s clothing brand, +44. The collection is called “The Vegas Trip,” inspired by Formula 1’s 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix, slated to take place next week.

The sprawling collection of garments comprises 27 individual pieces inspired by Vegas’ distinct, bright aesthetic. Murakami designed colorful graphics that play on the relationship between fashion and racing. In the mix are hoodies, t-shirts, long sleeves and accessories. His signature character, Mr. DOB, is featured in the designs alongside the racer’s initials, “LH.”

“It’s no secret that I’m a huge fan of Murakami’s work and technique,” Hamilton said of the collaboration. “He’s a legendary artist and having the opportunity to work with him for a second time is a dream.”

Murakami recalled how he was able to watch Hamilton race for the first time at the Suzuka Circuit in Japan last year, saying that “it brought back the feelings I had when I was a university student and was crazy about the races, and I have since been following the F1 Grand Prix again.”

From November 15 to 19, the +44 drop will be sold at a pop-up at the Wynn Las Vegas in partnership with NTWRK, as well as online.
