Gunna Drops Bars on Producer Turbo’s New Track “Bachelor”
The rapper and producer previously worked together on ‘A Gift & A Curse.’
Gunna and Turbo’s working relationship goes way back. The rapper and producer, who are both Georgia natives, collaborated across six different songs on Gunna’s latest album A Gift & A Curse.
Following that collaboration over the summer, the duo has linked up for Turbo’s new single, “Bachelor.” The song samples a piano track from James Blake entitled “Do You Ever,” whose vocals also appear in the intro.
Turbo takes the sample’s energy up a notch with his own drum beat, while Gunna drops punchy bars about lusting after a special someone.
“Who else you thinkin’ ’bout? / I can’t be callin’ your phone every day,” he raps. “F**k is you thinkin’ ’bout / This shit ain’t loyal, then it’s gonna spoil your heart.”
