One of adidas‘ most successful ventures is with British designer Wales Bonner. The duo first united in 2020 and have released several collaborations reinterpreting elevated sportswear themes. Their adidas sambas have become instant sell-outs and are highly coveted across international communities.
After revealing four upcoming colorways, adidas and Wales Bonner offer a complete look at their anticipated Fall/Winter 2023 range. The latter delves into adidas’ archive, remastering vintage looks for current generations. The designer brings an elevated approach with neutral hues, exploring the 1970s and ’90s through an athletic lens.
The apparel collection begins with brown, grey, and cream velour tracksuits featuring contrasting Three Stripes branding and Wales Bonner lettering. Staples tees and utility bottoms follow while graphic rhinestones shine bright on skintight underpinnings. Asymmetrical knitwear receives green lining alongside preppy versions with two-toned collars.
On the footwear side, adidas and Wales Bonner continue to promote fresh Samba designs. The designer’s signature oversized tongues reign supreme in tinted leather with co-branded badges on leopard, burgundy, black, and cream colorways. Long-haired uppers bring textural galore stacked atop standard rubber sole units.
