anOnlyChild SS24 Loves Soft Sundays
Evoking an air of quiet, yet cozy confidence.

There’s a classic stillness with Maxwell Osborne’s anOnlyChild. Whether it be the brand’s Spring/Summer 2023 collection whose shiny wardrobe was the perfect fit for celebrations or its Fall/Winter 2023 collection, which made a statement about survival with sculptural silhouettes. Osborne is keen on finding the balance between exquisitely timeless silhouettes and modernity. His new Spring/Summer 2024 collection continues this mission with a meditation on Sunday’s rejuvenating strength.
Regardless of whether it’s church, brunch or just lounging with friends and family, Sunday has a restful presence that releases the tension of the week prior. It’s both a soft day and one that may be met with putting on your “Sunday’s best.” Osborne captures these sentiments in his new collection that harbors a cozy, yet still chic approach to Sunday stillness.
Lining the wardrobe is a gambit of ready-to-wear pieces that blends the previous notes of anOnlyChild collections. There’s sculpture, texture, layered forms and still relaxed elegance. Pieces like a camel-hued hourglass blazer with puff sleeves, cropped blazer coordinating sets and a ruched drop shoulder jacket stand as highlights with their fusion of old and new. Regardless of the garment type, there is a sense of ease that pervades the collection, which is also seen in oversized matching sets, split ankle pants with piping details and sultry fitted tops with ruched detailing.
