Westside Gunn Unveils Star-Studded 'And Then You Pray For Me'

Westside Gunn‘s final long-form studio project And Then You Pray For Me is here, and the Buffalo rapper pulled out all the stops. Tapping the likes of generational hip-hop talent including RZA, Rick Ross, JID, Denzel Curry and Conway The Machine, if And Then You Pray For Me is really the Griselda founder’s outro, he’s gone out with a bang indeed.
Virgil Abloh, who also created the cover art for Gunn’s 2020 LP Pray For Paris, designed the cover art for And Then You Pray For Me. “I wanted to do something special,” the rapper shared in an Instagram post when he revealed the art. “I wanted to give u 2 albums worth of music AOTY with a cover designed by Virgil Abloh for a price u never heard of so we can spread the ART!!!”
Gunn recorded most of the album overseas, holding impromptu studio sessions across Paris, Athens, London and Denmark. “I’ve been living a healthy, sucka-free life, and it’s given me a new energy” Gunn shared in a statement. “I feel better than I ever have; stronger and smarter.”
Clocking in at an hour and fifteen minutes, the album totals 21 songs and features a handful of other artists such as Jeezy, DJ Drama, Giggs, Ty Dolla $ign, Stove God Cooks, Rome Streetz, EST Gee and Benny The Butcher. See the full tracklist below.
