Rema Drops New EP Titled 'Ravage'
Follow up to his collab track with Ice Spice.
Following the recent release of a new collab track with Ice Spice’s “Pretty Girl,” Rema has dropped a new EP, Ravage. The album comes after the Afrobeats star’s 2022 full-length debut, Rave & Roses. Ravage is produced by London, Blaise Beatz and P Prime.
The Nigerian star said of the release in a statement, “On this project, I connect with my inner flame, my inner rage. It’s like an outburst on the inside of me that I’ve held in for too long. It’s not fueled with negativity, rather it’s fueled with drive, passion, and destiny. What people will hear on this project is a little exhale from me, only that it comes with fire.” Following the release of “Pretty Girl,” Rema performed the song with Ice Spice on Saturday Night Live‘s Season 49 premiere show. Recently, Rema has been an award-winning rising star, winning his first-ever Afrobeats award at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards for his hit song “Calm Down” with Selena Gomez.
The EP features five tracks, “Trouble Maker,” “DND,” “Smooth Criminal,” “Don’t Leave” and “Red Potion.” Take a listen to the full EP below.
