The Nike Air Max Furyosa Reappears in "Sanddrift"

A fall-ready finish for the futuristic design.

Nike first revealed the futuristic Air Max Furyosa back in 2021 and has utilized it sparingly since. Featuring two Air units stacked atop one another, the silhouette has taken on various eye-catching colorways thus far. However, for Fall/Winter 2023, it looks to a much simpler palette in “Sanddrift.”

Combining the soft brown hue with a classic off-white “Phantom,” the presentation emphasizes the Air Max Furyosa’s unique build. Its mixed material construction sees suede, leather and synthetics combine for a look that hosts the aforementioned colors throughout. Its signature lace-wrap makes a return in “Phantom” while the reinforced heel favors “Sanddrift.” Looking to the complex sole unit, its two visible Air units can be spotted at the heel with the rubber outsole utilizing Nike’s recycled Grind material in a speckled semi-translucent gray.

At the time of writing, Nike has not share any release details pertaining to this “Sanddrift” finish on the Air Max Furyosa. Stay tuned for updates as we currently expect it to release by the end of the year via the Swoosh and select retailers at a price of $160 USD.
