The New Balance 327 Gets a Corduroy Update
With layers of hairy suede overlays reminiscent of the popular “Protection Pack” concept.
The New Balance 327 has surfaced in a Corduroy finish, featuring overlays of hairy suede reminiscent of the popular “Protection Pack” concept found on silhouettes like the 1906R and 2002R.
This fall-ready pack includes three different colorways, namely beige, brown and black all of which feature corduroy base layers to match. All three pairs feature vintage exposed sponge tongues and sit on top of the signature 327 midsole with a black waffle outsole that wraps around to the back of the heel.
While the hairy suede alludes to the fact that this collection could be an extension of the Protection Pack, it does offer a more subtle and refined take — excluding the presence of jagged edges and opting for a more subtle look.
At the time of writing, the pack is only available overseas and exclusively in women’s sizes. Release details for the U.S. have yet to be announced at the time of writing, for more information keep an eye on New Balance’s official channels.
