In celebration of the 2023 edition of Amsterdam’s ADE festival, G-Star RAW has teamed up with photographer and iconic figure of Berlin’s blossoming nightlife scene, Sven Marquardt, for a collaborative “11+1” exhibition that showcases 12 portraits of Berlin’s unique club culture.

The portraits pay homage to Berlin’s unique spirit, with Marquardt casting the talents himself to present a raw representation of nocturnal Berlin. Additionally, the exhibition, titled “11+1,” nods to guestlist culture with 11 street-casted talents and one well-known DJ, Clara Cuvé.

Each personality included in the exhibition comes from a slew of different backgrounds and professions. However, the collaboration also embodies a shared vision of Sven’s creativity and authenticity, alongside the creative boundary-pushing of denim, which G-Star continues to explore.

With this in mind, G-Star RAW is known for its denim innovations, craftsmanship, and motto surrounding the limitlessness of denim, with its new approach to fashion for this campaign taking inspiration from clubbing outfits, transforming them into one-of-a-kind couture pieces. Looks range from leather-look suits to a chef’s hat, with each garment being uniquely crafted using G-Star’s expertise in denim manufacturing.

You can take a closer look at the new G-Star Raw x Sven Marquard collaboration above and you can see the exhibition IRL during Amsterdam Dance Event from October 19 to October 22 at Fosbury & Sons in Amsterdam.
