Bell & Ross Unveils New BR 03 Collection
Including nine different variations, one of which is a limited edition of 999.
Bell & Ross, known for its aviation-inspired watches, is soaring to new heights with fresh additions to its iconic BR 03 collection, marking a subtle evolution of the brand’s design ethos.
The updated collection was recently unveiled during an event in Hong Kong, where the brand’s General Manager, Fabien de Nonancourt, showcased the fresh designs to media and guests.
“Embodying the concept of adapting to the new times while maintaining our brand’s allure, Bell & Ross is delighted to launch the New BR 03 watches which modify the proportions while preserving its identity,” Fabien shared, adding “Keeping its iconic round in a square design, the case features a slightly smaller dimension – reduced to 41 mm from 42 mm – and is enhanced with a softer appearance, thanks to the 4 mm lugs paired with a narrower and more streamlined rubber strap.”
Other notable updates shared at the event included the fact that the power reserve of the movement is now extended to 54 hours. In addition to technical updates, the collection is also receiving two new core colors, a steel case model equipped with a copper dial and a black ceramic model with a military green dial.
The star of the show, however, bringing the updated BR 03 model to a total of nine different variations, is the BR 03 “Gyrocompass,” which is limited to an edition of 999 pieces. The watch, draped in all-black, features a splash of color on the dial, as the silhouette of a fighter plane is depicted in a vibrant yellow.
At the heart of each of the watches in the new BR 03 collection lies the now-extended BR-CAL.302 automatic mechanical movement. This modification underscores Bell & Ross’s commitment to marrying functionality with exceptional aesthetics. Additionally, each of the timepieces is water-resistant up to 100 meters.
All of the watches are available now, via Bell & Ross’s official site, with retail prices ranging from $3,600 to $4,500 USD.
