After 19 years, Panic! at the Disco will officially split following their upcoming European tour, according to a letter posted to the group’s Instagram on Tuesday from bandleader Brendon Urie.

“Well, it’s been a hell of a journey… Growing up in Vegas I could’ve never imagined where this life would take me. So many places all over the world, and all the friends we’ve made along the way,” Urie wrote. “Sometimes a journey must end for a new one to begin.”

As he is expecting his first child, Urie explained that he now must dedicate his energy to his family. “We’ve been trying to keep it to ourselves, though some of you may have heard.. Sarah and I are expecting a baby very soon,” he added. “The prospect of being a father and getting to watch my wife become a mother is both humbling and exciting. I look forward to this next adventure.”

“That said, I am going to bring this chapter of my life to an end and put my focus and energy on my family, and with that Panic! At The Disco will be no more,” he continued.

In 2004, Urie linked with Ryan Ross, Spencer Smith, and then-bassist Brent Wilson to form Panic! at the Disco while in high school. The Las Vegas band found quick success with their debut album, A Fever You Can’t Sweat Out, in 2005, with its lead single “I Write Sins Not Tragedies.”

Panic! at the Disco will take to the stage for their final performances beginning on February 20 in Vienna. The group’s last show will take place in Manchester, England, on March 10. “I am looking forward to seeing everyone in Europe and the UK for one last run together,” Urie concluded. “I love you. I appreciate you. Thank you for existing.”

In more music news, Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter will release a new solo album, titled Mythologies.
