Following its re-release in 2020, the 1996 original Nike Air More Uptempo “OG” is slated to make another comeback in 2023. The shoe, which was famously worn by Chicago Bullschampion, Scottie Pippen in the 1995-1996 season, is set to hit retailers later this year for a trip down memory lane.

Known as one of the most classic basketball shoes in the history of Nike, the Nike Air More Uptempo “OG” arrives in the original black and white color scheme. The shoe features the black nubuck upper construction and the signature large “AIR” branding on the lateral foot is outlined in white for additional highlights. The Swoosh logo on the tongue, midsole and insole are all detailed in white while a part of the outsole’s bubble is seen. A translucent bold Swoosh on the heel rounds out the design of the shoe.

Take a look above at the Nike Air More Uptempo “OG” slated to arrive in the coming months in select retailers and at Nike for $160 USD.

In other footwear news, New Balance 550s arrive in the USA-inspired tri-color “Suede Pack.”
