Steph Curry's Documentary 'Underrated' Confirmed To Show at Sundance Film Festival 2023

NBA‘s sharpshooter and Golden State Warriors veteran Steph Curry is set to premiere his upcoming documentary, Underrated at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival.
The film, which is produced by Apple TV+, A24 Proximity Media and Curry’s own production company, is slated to follow the basketball player’s “remarkable coming-of-age story”. The film’s synopsis states that it will follow how Curry becomes “one of the most influential, dynamic and unexpected players in the history of basketball.” The documentary also chronicles his rise to fame from being an “undersized college player at a tiny backwater Division I college to a four-time NBA champion, building one of the most dominant sports dynasties in the world.”
Showcasing at one of the most prestigious festivals in film, the film is directed by Peter Nicks and produced by Ryan Coogler and Erick Peyton. Giving an intimate look at Curry’s journey, the documentary blends his days in college with his time with the Warriors. Stay tuned for the official release date.
