Gearing up for the Lunar New Year, global e-commerce and retail platform, HBX, has tapped renowned fashion imprints HUMAN MADE®︎ and NEEDLES, as well as contemporary artist MADSAKI for a series of red packets. The exclusive set comes in prosperous red with gold accents expressing the unique graphics designed by the collaborators that explore symbols of fortune, joy, wealth, and prosperity.

NIGO‘s HUMAN MADE®︎ offered an illustrated take on the rabbit to welcome the Year of the Rabbit for its contribution to HBX’s 2023 Lunar New Year red packet set. Framed by HUMAN MADE®︎ branding, the motif is underscored by the label’s signature “Gears for futuristic teenagers” phrase. NEEDLES by NEPENTHES presented its sewing craftsmanship logo held in the center of an embroidery frame accompanied by auspicious clouds and geometrical shapes.

Finally, artist MADSAKI offered his ubiquitous smiley face marked by dripping nose details for his exclusive red packet design for HBX. The artist also put well wishes towards a joyful year ahead with the “Happiness Overdose” message printed on the rear flap of the packet.

Starting January 4, customers will receive a pack of the exclusive 2023 Lunar New Year red packets designed by HUMAN MADE®︎, NEEDLES, and MADSAKI (total of six red packets, two per design) upon purchase of $1,500 HKD or more at HBX Hong Kong, or any purchase of $250 USD or more at HBX New York or on HBX’s website (while supplies last).
