adidas Crazy 1 Returns With Off-White Uppers and Purple Accents
Kobe’s first Three Stripes signature comes back with another Lakers-friendly arrangement.
2022 marked the return of adidas Crazy 1 — Kobe Bryant‘s first signature silhouette with the brand. Die-hard Mamba fans responded well to its reissue as a handful of its launches sold out, so the model will be looking to add to this momentum with more deliveries in the new year. On deck for the court-ready model is a brand new off-white colorway that is complemented by purple and gray accents.
One can make the comparison to the product’s “Stormtrooper” iteration that restocked last year given that the base is styled with a brighter neutral color, but this variation is fitted with a slightly darker shade. Throats, laces and booties are dressed with a light gray tone and sit adjacent to bold pops of purple on the interior leather lining and adidas branding that resides on the tongue. Out back, the heel counters arrive in black and its see-through window shows off a hint of yellow which — paired with the aforementioned purple hits — references Bryant’s legendary 20-year career with the Los Angeles Lakers.
No release info has been announced yet but you can likely see adidas and select retailers dropping these in the coming weeks.
For other news, adidas just unveiled its new Xare BOOST model.
