Premium Sports Lifestyle Brand ’47 Launches New MLB Capsule Collection

Championing three-quarters of a century, premium sports lifestyle brand ‘47 has launched a new, limited edition capsule collection partnering with Major League Baseball. The new capsule is the first of five forthcoming league collaborations – with the NFL, NCAA, NHL and NBA – that celebrate the brand’s 75th anniversary.

The collection features a range of vintage team T-shirts with matching ‘47 HITCH caps and includes a black “New York Yankees” set with New York Dynasty apple graphics, a grey “Dodgers” tee and blue cap, a black “Chicago Cubs” tee and blue cap, and a grey “Boston Red Sox” tee and black “Fenway Finest” cap bearing the team’s Green Monster mascot.

Founded by twin brothers Arthur and Henry D’Angelo in 1947 – and now managed by Arthur’s four sons, Steven, David, Bobby and Mark – the ‘47 brand is one of the first companies to pave the way for sports licensing. And the new capsule pays homage to the sports world by chronicling some of the most famous franchises in sports history.

Items are priced at $75 USD for caps and tees and are available now on the brand’s website.

In other athletic apparel news, Ancuta Sarca revved up the footwear engine for Spring/Summer 2023.
