Nissin’s Cup Noodle Introduces New “Seapoodle” Flavor
Made without the use of any dogs, as one of four new flavor mashups.
As a college dorm room staple, Nissin’s Cup Noodle has held many a student down in between cafeteria food meals and late-night study binges. And for Fall 2022, the food company is introducing a new “Seapoodle” flavor.
Revealed in a recent tweet, and made without the use of any dogs – as one of four new flavor mashups – the new food item will become a part of Nissin’s continuing flavor lineup, along with the introduction of “Cheese Cury,” “Chili Tomato,” and “Spicy Noodle.”
The containers for each new item picture a creative and colorful logo graphic with enlarged and interlocking fonts of the contents being combined inside. The “Spicy Noodle” flavor contains Karaman and garlic pork stock, the “Chili Tomato” contains chili tomato and Tom Yum Kung (spicy soup), the “Cheese Cury” contains miso soup and European cheese curry, and the “Seapoodle” contains seafood – fish, shrimp and imitation crab meat – pork stock, scrambled egg and green onion.
Nissin’s new flavor lineup will be on sale beginning September 12, for $1.60 USD each.
In other news, the 2022 VMA’s red carpet was dominated by green, black and white color palettes.
