Dunks continue to be the center of attention for Nike and its lifestyle category, and one pattern that the brand has consistently honed in on is its collegiate motifs. We’ve seen the Swoosh bring back a plethora of “Be True to Your School” offerings, and now it’s set to go on a streak with more university-inspired makeups such as this Dunk Low for Clark Atlanta University.

The color palette of these kicks speaks to the private, Methodist and historically black research university’s signature colors. Smooth leather uppers are backdropped in a muted gray hue which are styled next to solid lack overlays and punchy red accents atop the Swooshes, liners and just above the midsoles. Direct callouts to the school’s panther mascot can be spotted on the tongues as well as the translucent outsoles across the forefoot region. Other important details include the institution’s motto “FIND A WAY OR MAKE ONE” which comes printed in all-over fashion across the laces as well as the heels which swap out the usual Nike branding for a “1988” hit — the year that Clark College converged with Atlanta University to create Clark Atlanta University.

No official launch info has been announced just yet, but it’s likely that Nike will be dropping these in the coming months.

In case you missed it, a Dunk Low “Game Royal” colorway has been unveiled.
