Known for being “the shoe with the American flag,” Dallas-born Autry announces it will hit stores across the US once again. The sneaker brand debuts with its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, stocking at some of the country’s most prestigious department stores including Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Markus.

Launched in 1982, Autry originally found its fame in the US with its classic sneakers purpose-built for tennis, running and aerobics. Though the brand hit pause for a few years, it picked up where it left off seeing three Italian entrepreneurs resuscitate its iconic Medalist silhouette for the eclectic European sneaker market in 2019.

With the Made in Italy fund now at the helm of the brand, Autry continues to honor its heritage designs, dropping a vintage-inspired FW22 pack of high-top kicks and low-top tennis classics. From the multi-panelled Open sneaker to the retro Bob Lutz-endorsed edition, the staple line lands in the US from September along with an accompanying apparel collection. To celebrate the return, Autry also hosted a pop-up store inside Saks New York.

Take a closer look at Autry’s FW22 sneaker offering in the gallery above. The new collection is available to shop online and in select retailers including Saks Fifth Avenue, Nordstrom, Neiman Markus, Bodega, By George, Hampden, Mr. Porter.
