IISE FW22 Is Steeped in Tradition
Referencing the past to deliver thoughtful contemporary silhouettes.
Following its recent collaboration with LA-based eyewear brand AKILA, South Korean imprint IISE returns with its Fall/Winter 2022 lookbook, showcasing the brand’s 15th collection. The upcoming series delivers a range of contemporary silhouettes which reference traditional Korean arts in both materials and design.
Highlights from Drop 1 include the navy coach jackets and trousers made from the Korean textile, nubi, which is known for its durability and unique texture. Jackets come with metallic 2-way zippers and banded cuffs while trousers arrive in both straight-leg and relaxed fits. Other standouts include half-zip pullovers with raglan sleeves and signature overlap cuff details as well as button-up shirts incorporating paint stroke graphics from traditional ’70s artwork. Upcoming pieces to look out for are the asymmetric puffer jackets with overlaid front panels, GORE-TEX windbreakers, and woven carrying options.
