'Sonic the Hedgehog 3' Receives Official Release Date
Ben Schwartz will seemingly return to voice the Sega character.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 has received an official premiere date.
The upcoming film is set to hit theaters on December 20, 2024 as confirmed on its official Twitter account, “Running faster, flying higher, and punching harder. #SonicMovie3 hits theatres on December 20, 2024.” Ben Schwartz also seemingly confirmed his return as the voice of the famed Sega character, tweeting, “HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!! #SonicMovie3 IS COMING TO THEATRES ON DECEMBER 20, 2024!!! AHHH!!!”
Plot details for the third installment remain under wraps. Fans can expect Tails and Knuckles the Echidna to return for the sequel, however it has not been confirmed whether Colleen O’Shaunnessey and Idris Elba will reprise their voice acting roles; however, Elba will still be voicing Knuckles in a spinoff.
