Pharrell Spotted in a New adidas NMD S1 Silhouette
Bold Humanrace branding comes printed across the lateral side.
Newer innovations from adidas tend to attract more attention from the sneaker community nowadays, especially when it comes to the brand’s lifestyle category. One series that has gradually broadened its output has been the NMD S1, and it looks as though another variant is in the works as Pharrell was recently spotted rocking an upcoming model at the Billionaire Boys Club x New York Yankees launch.
Base on this early look, it appears that the original shape is being retained, but the upper is designed with a more sleek aesthetic. Knitted uppers are bereft of any Three Stripes branding on the quarter panels and instead come embellished with oversized Humanrace lettering that spans nearly the entire lateral wall. This particular iteration comes fitted with lighter beige knitted uppers and laces and comes contrasted by a bold blue hue that lands on the heel counters and rear ends of the sole pieces. Side angles of the shoes reveal its toothy treading that likely is formed with repetitive Trefoil logos like its predecessors.
More information surrounding this new offering will likely pop up in the coming months.
