Official Images of Nike Air Trainer 1 "Tokyo 2003"
A special edition paying homage to the Japanese culture.
Nike has unveiled its latest special edition of the Air Trainer 1. Arriving in a timeless color scheme of black, white, and purple, the shoe pays homage to the Japanese culture in its new “Tokyo 2003” colorway.
The special iteration comes dressed in the primary black and white tones and is constructed with premium build tumbled leather as well as reptilia-like leather overlays seen across the forefoot and heel section. “TYO 03” motifs are highlighted throughout the shoe as embossed branding into the lateral heel as well as hangtags. Minimal use of the purple is used to offer additional vibrancy and highlights to the shoe while it sits atop a white and black midsole and purple-accented outsole to round out the design.
