Following its initial debut in Paris, NAMESAKE now offers another look at its Fall/Winter 2022 “HOME COURT” collection. While continuing to push the group’s central message of brotherhood and family, the upcoming series delivers the uplifting message that we can all be stars in our own communities.

“We’re all winning trophies in our own way;’ said the Hsieh brothers, founders of the NAMESAKE. “You may not be a household name like star athletes and musicians, but you can be a true household name in your community.”

Shot in the gymnasium of their old high school, NAMESAKE’s new lookbook pictures the school band and basketball team ahead of a game, crediting its heroes, including NBA legends Jason Williams and “Pistol” Pete Maravich as well as hip-hop artists Outkast and André 3000 as the inspirations behind the collection. Carrying over the stylish showmanship and unruly attitudes of those characters, the lineup delivers an expressive range of unconventional uniforms, rethinking youthful athletic styles with silhouettes such as cinched leather bombers, drop-shoulder vests, kilt-like bottoms, and oversized sports duffels.

NAMESAKE’s FW22 collection is now available at the brand’s designated stockists.
