HOMME BOY Extends Its "T9" Collection
Delivering the V2 release of its table tennis-themed wares.
Back in April, HOMME BOY returned for 2022 to introduce its “T9” table tennis-fueled collection. The name of the range is short for tak-gu (Korean)/tak-kyu (Japanese), which translates to table tennis, with gu/kyu meaning ball and the number nine in both languages.
HOMME BOY has now returned to extend its “T9” with more offerings centered around the Olympic sport, also known as ping-pong and whiff-whaff. Additional items include functional pants, statement socks and 3D-shaped ball cases.
Leading the “T9” V2 collection is a series of sweat-absorbent, quick-drying stretch polyester shirts hand-printed with a special process. The Sub. 7 – “LTTT9” short sleeve shirt is designed in collaboration with Poche Studio/L.T.T.T. and features a text-centric “People Always Love It Only” graphic. Matching the tops are the Mod. 40 Col. 1 – Black T9 Pants and Mod. 40 Col. 2 – Fuchsia T9 Pants constructed with durable water-resistant two-way stretch poly and 3M reflective piping expressing a loose straight fit.
The Acc. 23 – T9 “Bernie” Socks feature a calf-high rib-knit cuff with athletic double layering at toe and sole. The socks are decorated with an intarsia graphic displaying a net and ball. Rounding up the range is the Acc. 22 – “Edamame” Leather Pouch and Acc. 22B – “Onigiri” Leather Pouch, made with genuine leather with a kelly green YKK zipper, belt loop trigger and triangle ring.
