Established in 1994, Griffin Studios has grounded itself in nature, taking to functional techniques as the foundation of its design practice. Founded by Jeff and Karina Griffin, the label has kept alfresco play close to home, choosing to craft outdoor garments with a sustainable approach.

From the start, Griffin Studios has delivered its unique design style through unlikely means. Recognized for its blade cut method that builds on 3D textures, pieces are often slashed to create a grim look. The label delivers outerwear garments for your inner explorer, equipped with sharp cuts and hole punctures.

Its Fall/Winter 2022 range saw the British craftsmen land on the base of form and function, taking inspiration from military uniforms reworked for contemporary pioneers. Muted hoodies were taken under the knife and delivered in military-grade materials, while overshirts were also gashed and decorated with Finnish camo print. Classic camouflage has been revamped in shades of black, orange and hot pink, splattered on running vests, overpants and lightweight nylon parkas. Cozy hooded fleeces accompany, styled in hues of beige and black with gilded detailing.

The season also welcomes the arrival of Griffin’s collaboration with streetwear imprint Supreme, delivering a nine-piece collection that studies the blade cut practice. Pullover anoraks are torn, featuring Supreme’s box logo on the center flap, elastic ties at the hood and blurred lettering at the rear. Hoodies, denim and camp caps complete the range landing in “Military Green,” black and brown camo that reveals vibrant yellow underlayers.

The Supreme x Griffin Studios Collaboration will be available in-store and online via Supreme on August 25 at 11 a.m. EST.
