Burberry Revels in Community for FW22 Campaign
Fusing contemporary and traditional dress notes.
Burberry has unveiled its new campaign for the Fall/Winter 2022 season where community is just as important as clothes.
By channeling the notions of unity and belonging, the new visual looks at the power individuality brings not only to fashion but to life. Additionally, in bringing about this message the campaign showcases both outdoor and studio shots to make note of Burberry’s duality house code.
Menswear garments exhibit contemporary tradition with a dark umber hooded duffle coat with leather straps, high-waisted pants, fused knitwear, supple leather jackets, floor-hugging skirts in quilted fabrications, cotton poplin shirts and more. A key design point of the collection pieces is the usage of an archival Burberry logo which is seen across knitwear and pants. Bringing the menswear images to life is the partnership with Black-owned LA-based non-profit, The Compton Cowboys.
Also included in the campaign are women’s studio shots with daring monochromatic black leather looks, classic trench coats reimagined as strapless gowns, waxed cotton coats, candy pink corset tops, pleated skirts, Burberry’s signature Lola bag and more.
