Fans of old-school Jordan Brand models such as the Air Jordan 1, Air Jordan 2 and Air Jordan 3 have been treated to another great year of releases. Not only have classic looks returned for 2022 but fresh takes on the iconic models have popped up left and right. Now, “Black Gold” serves as one of the latest new colorways to surface. After initial imagery came up last month, the Swoosh now offers an official look at the upcoming women’s colorway.

Inspiration for the design can clearly be traced back to the legendary Air Jordan 3 “Black Cement.” A black leather upper returns, this time contrasted by gold at the tongue and collar. “Cement Grey” detailing is brought back to the upper and outsole while “Fire Red” accents the Jumpman on the tongue, the sockliner and some of the eyelets. Lastly, an off-white, Air-infused midsole completes this bold rework.

Fans of the Air Jordan 3 “Black Gold” can look for it to hit shelves in women’s sizing October 6 via Nike and select retailers worldwide at a price of $200 USD.

In case you missed it, the Air Jordan 1 High OG “Chicago Reimagined” comes with special packaging that is inspired by aged retro shoeboxes.
