7-Eleven Taps Overtime and Easy Otabor for a Limited-Edition Apparel Collection
The merchandise capsule includes graphics inspired by 7-Eleven, Speedway Stores, and basketball culture.

7-Eleven‘s series of exciting summer merch collaborations has been greatly influenced by the worlds of streetwear, sneakers and sports. For its latest drop, 7-Eleven has teamed up with the popular sports platform Overtime and gallerist, designer, tastemaker and founder of the clothing brand Infinite Archives, Easy Otabor. The multi-brand collaboration drops Friday, August 5 at 1:00 p.m. ET at https://shop.overtime.tv/ and includes hats, mesh basketball shorts, hoodies and tees.

The Overtime x 7-Eleven collection, curated by Easy Otabor, was inspired by “Game to Eleven,” the well-known phrase in pick-up basketball. Designs in the capsule will introduce the slogan “Game to Eleven” and “Game Speed,” that merge Overtime’s basketball influences with the logos of 7-Eleven and Speedway. Both 7-Eleven and Speedway have stripes that have become important to their brand DNA, which are translated into patterns on mesh basketball shorts. Other hidden details include window signs that mimic actual 7-Eleven stores and seven unique basketballs that spell out “Game to 11.”

When discussing this collaboration, Easy Otabor said, “7-Eleven is one of the most recognized brands in the world, and to partner with them on such an iconic project is an honor. Integrating 7-Eleven’s renowned branding with my personal style resulted in a collection that people of all ages would enjoy, with a touch of nostalgia.”

The merchandise provides a physical manifestation of how art, culture and basketball can be combined to spark new ideas. “The designs could serve as standalone art pieces, which is a nod to Otabor as an art gallery owner, and are curated amongst streetwear and basketball silhouettes that fit into Overtime’s style,” says Tyler Rutstein, Vice President, GMM at Overtime and OTE.

Keep an eye out for the exclusive Overtime x 7-Eleven collection, curated by Easy Otabor which, will be available on Friday, August 5th straight from the Overtime website. Prices for individual pieces in the drop start at $50. For a chance to win the entire capsule collection, purchase participating products at 7-Eleven and Speedway stores through the 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards loyalty programs or via 7NOW delivery.
