Union LA's Next Batch of Nike Cortez Collabs Receive a Release Date
“Smoke Grey” and “Lemon Frost” colorways are headed your way.

It’s no secret that Chris Gibbs and his team over at Union LA are known to strike up a storm within the sneakers community thanks to their plethora of successful footwear collaborations. This year, the streetwear retailer has aligned with Nike for multiple team-ups that have entailed the Air Jordan 2 and Dunk Low, and now it is honing in on concluding its Cortez capsule with two more colorways.
For this next round of releases, the Los Angeles-based boutique has readied intricate “Smoke Grey” and “Lemon Frost” colorways. Like its predecessors, both of these installments are prepped with louder accents on the uppers that come in the form of stripes and bold-colored Swooshes. Additionally, the midsole pieces of each rendition have been manufactured with Crater foam which enhance the shoe’s visual composition with a multi-colored aesthetic that’s both scrappy and earth-friendly. The lace dubraes have been styled with “Cortez ’72” branding in honor of the model’s original launch in 1972. Furthermore, you’ll find Union branding on the tongues and forefoot tabs as well as the heel flaps which don the store’s signature Frontman silhouette.
Union LA has confirmed that these will be dropping on July 21.
