Tommy Hilfiger Set To Make New York Fashion Week Return
For the Fall 2022 season.
After a three-year hiatus, Tommy Hilfiger is returning to New York Fashion Week. Slated for Sunday, September 11, the runway show is set to unveil the American designer’s Fall 2022 collection titled “See Now, Buy Now.”
With intentions to expand the usual fashion show caliber, the event is set to entail an interactive experience inspired by New York’s creative landscape. Specifically, the presentation will feature a real-life showcase at Brooklyn’s Skyline Drive-In alongside a metaverse activation.
“My heart immediately went to New York’s iconic creative culture when I thought about where to launch our return to fashion week,” said Tommy Hilfiger. “This is where fashion, art, music and entertainment was all coming together when I first started out in the industry…This season is all about the collision of my favorite archival inspirations with new live event concepts and virtual worlds. It’s the perfect expression of what we stand for as we pay homage to our roots with a return to NYFW.”
Additionally, the show will be live-streamed on Roblox with avatars donning the Fall 2022 collection pieces. Stay tuned for Tommy Hilfiger’s return to the runway.
