'Succession,' 'Ted Lasso' and 'The White Lotus' Lead the 2022 Emmy Nominations
The ceremony will take place on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET.

The Television Academy on Tuesday unveiled the 2022 Emmy Awards nominations, during a special announcement program hosted by chairman and CEO Frank Scherma, as well as Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s JB Smoove and Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Melissa Fumero.
HBO‘s Succession leads the pack as the most-nominated program with 25 nods, including one for outstanding drama, followed by HBO’s The White Lotus and Apple‘s Ted Lasso, which each received 20 nominations. Several additional programs received double-digit nominations, including Hacks (17), Only Murders in the Building (17), Euphoria (16), Barry (14), Dopesick (14), Severance (14), Squid Game (14), Ozark (13), Stranger Things (13), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (12) and Pam & Tommy (10).
In the race among streaming platforms, HBO received the most nominations with a total of 108 nods, beating out Netflix, which received 105 noms.
The 74th Emmy Awards will take place on Monday, September 12 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The ceremony, which rotates between ABC, CBS, Fox and NBC each year, typically airs on a Sunday; however, in years when NBC has broadcast rights, the ceremony occurs on Monday as the network airs NFL games on Sunday evenings.
Ian Stewart, Reginald Hudlin, Byron Phillips and Jane Mun are slated to executive produce the three-hour live show, with Hamish Hamilton directing. The Television Academy has not yet announced a host for this year’s ceremony.
