Breaking Bad may be leaving the Netflix US streaming catalog in 2025.

According to reports, the streaming service’s license with Sony Television for the AMC title is set to expire on February 10, 2025, and if the two parties do not reach an agreement to extend the license, fans will have to look elsewhere for the Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul-led series. All five seasons of Vince Gilligan’s celebrated show is currently available on Netflix, along with the Netflix-exclusive sequel film El Camino and the prequel series Better Call Saul starring Bob Odenkirk.

In addition to Breaking Bad, fan favorite TV series such as New Girl, Community, NCIS and How to Get Away with Murder are all set to leave Netflix in 2024 if their licenses are not extended.

Better Call Saul, which is currently in its sixth and final season, is set to premiere its series finale on August 15. Cranston and Paul, who played the lead roles of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad, are set to reprise their roles in the final season.

Elsewhere in entertainment, A24 and Michelle Yeoh’s Everything Everywhere All At Once is re-releasing in theaters.
