adidas and Y's Latest Collaboration Combines the SEEULATER and GSG9 Sneakers

Following the Y-3 Qasa High revival earlier this month, Yohji Yamamoto and adidas join forces once again for a new hybrid pair of Y’s SEEULATER x GSG9 sneakers in “Black” and “White/Black” color options. The Y’s pairs are a combination of two of adidas’ lesser-known sneakers — the trail-ready SeeULater and GSG9 tactical boots named after the Grenzschutzgruppe 9 der Bundespolizei, a special unit of the German Police.
The upcoming pairs incorporate the sturdy uppers of the SeeULATER model, featuring a combination of smooth cow leather overlays and a breathable mesh knit base. Below, the special sole unit takes from the GSG9, featuring a special outsole that offers a stable and strong grip as well as shock absorption. Additional design highlights include an extended sock liner, thick tube laces, and Y’s/Super Position branding on the laterals.
Take an official look at the Y’s x adidas SEEULATER x GSG9 above and expect the pairs to release on June 3 on Yohji Yamamoto’s online shop and at boutiques for $594 USD.
