Aside from all of the innovative and stylish products that it rolls out every year, Nike continues to win over the hearts of sportswear consumers for all of its purpose-driven work. The brand isn’t afraid to take a stand on political issues and it will often show love to various communities through special product releases. The latter is reflected in this year’s Puerto Rico, Be True and N7 collections, all of which have been officially announced by the Beaverton imprint.

The Swoosh has been paying homage to the Boricua community since 2000, and this year’s Puerto Rico collection features a duo of Air Force 1 Lows and a duo of two NSW Polo Matchup Puerto Rico makeups. One of the kicks is dyed with a colorful arrangement in an effort to mimic the multi-colored beauty of the signs and buildings in San Juan while the other pair takes a domino-inspired approach to spotlight the activity that merges the communities of New York and San Juan together. Release dates for these items are June 4 and June 9 in the SNKRS App and via select retailers in the U.S. and in Puerto Rico.

Pride Month is here and it’s tradition that Nike goes hard with its capsules for the LGBTQIA2S+ community. This year’s assemblage features a trio of footwear makeups, along with Pride-inspired apparel pieces. Silhouettes in this year’s range include a Cortez that’s decorated with multi-colored stitchings, an SB Dunk Low with wear-away uppers that reveal rainbow hues underneath and an Oneonta Sandal that is built with multi-colored straps. In the apparel department, the Swoosh design teams have readied a Nike Max 90 Tee, tie-dye hoodies and shorts that are adorned with gradient checks. The Nike Be True Oneonta and SB Dunk Low drop on June 22 via SNKRS and select retailers. Be True apparel releases June 22 while the Cortez will be released at a later date.

Nike N7 — an ongoing series that highlights and honors the athletes, creators, and cultural game-changers of the seven generations — is coming back again this Summer. Injected into this ensemble are new takes atop the Nike Free Crater Trail Moc, the Nike Air Max 95 and the Nike Kyrie 5 Low, all of which are done up with natural dye uppers and taping details and colors that call out traditional ribbon skirts and weaving techniques by Indigenous women. N7 NSW Club Crew, N7 DNA Short, N7 NSW Max 90 Tee and N7 NSW Jumpsuits are cooked up on the apparel side. This capsule is set to launch on June 21.
