Nike Air Force 1 Low "Anniversary Edition" Arrives in an Asymmetric Split Design
Celebrating 40 years of the AF1.
Following commemorative “Little Accra” and “Los Angeles” introductions, Nike continues its 40th-anniversary celebrations of Bruce Kilgore‘s iconic Air Force 1 silhouette with a new “Anniversary Edition” iteration. Featured in an asymmetric black-white split, the upcoming pairs feature a design that appears to wrap the classic all-white AF1s in tumbled and faux-crocodile black leathers.
An emblem resembling the NikeConnect logo arrives in gold embroidery on the heel and additional metallic gold accents are found on the “AF-1” and year “82” branded lace dubraes. Rounding out the design are “Anniversary Edition” branded leather tongue tabs, graffiti graphics of a mic on the insoles, and split rubber soles.
