Take an Official Look at the Anniversary Edition Nike Air Force 1 Low "Los Angeles"
Celebrating 40 years of the iconic silhouette.

Continuing the 40th-anniversary celebrations of Bruce Kilgore‘s iconic Air Force 1 silhouette, Nike is releasing a special-edition Air Force 1 dedicated to the City of Angels.
The upcoming pairs arrive in a patchwork of woven fabrics, nylon, and textured canvas in a mix of tan and sail hues accentuated by loose contrast stitching. While at first glance, the connection to Los Angeles may be hard to tease out, blue and yellow hues synonymous with the city’s sports teams color the Swoosh motif and embroidered orange flower motifs further hint at the nature of the sneakers
Insoles reveal a graphic of the California poppy, the official state flower of California that blooms from late winter to early spring, explaining the exterior embroidery accents. Accompanying the image is “Los Angeles” text printed in cursive, and additional details can be found on the “Anniversary Edition” text printed on the blue tongue tag. Thick rope laces and a classic white rubber sole unit complete the LA-inspired pairs.
