CASETiFY Taps Javier Calleja for an Adorable Limited-Edition Case Collection
The Spanish artist’s glassy-eyed characters take on a new type of canvas.
Accessories brand CASETiFY is known to be fond of collaborating with artists in the industry and is now set to launch its first collection with Javier Calleja. The Spanish creator’s artworks have been seen capturing the hearts of many around the world with his signature characters taking forms of drawings, paintings and sculptures.
His lovable figures follow a Japanese cartoon aesthetic known as Chibi — characters with oversized heads over small body frames. Calleja’s distinction of style also lies in the addition of dark and humorous notes to accompany a wholesome and mellow look with larger-than-life glassy eyes. This latest collection includes characteristic expressions inspired by Rene Magritte as well as exclusive new pieces made for CASETiFY’s signature Impact Cases. A limited-edition Canvas Case will also join the mix which features one of Calleja’s iconic doe-eyed figures on a canvas-like case.
Look out for the Javier Calleja x CASETiFY collection to hit the brand’s Studio locations and webstore with a sign up currently ongoing for priority access on July 6 and the official launch set for July 7.
