Bowers & Wilkins Combines Active Noise Cancellation and Clear Audio in the Px7 S2 Wireless Headphones
The headphones are modeled after the brand’s acclaimed loudspeaker line.
Bowers & Wilkins has followed up on its Px7 with the all-new Px7 S2 premium wireless headphones. Merging pristine audio with active noise cancellation, the new headphones are designed to cultivate an immersive listening experience for its user.
Featuring an over-ear industrial design, this new model is slimmer than the Px7 with improved comfort via memory foam cushioning. When making the headphones, Bowers & Wilkins designed the Px7 S2 with its 800 Series Diamond loudspeakers in mind, a system used in recording studios globally. Sound quality is prioritized with 24-bit high-resolution audio.
As for its noise cancellation capabilities, the Px7 S2 features six different microphones that function to block out any sound from the outside world. The microphones also come in handy when it comes to making phone calls.
This pair arrives as Bowers & Wilkins’ first headphones compatible with its Music app. Users can pair their set to the app to control noise cancellation levels and adjust the EQ.
The Px7 S2 “combines Bowers & Wilkins’ world-class sound with superb noise-cancellation, a wide range of smart features, brilliant battery life – and they’re also beautiful to look at and great to wear. In short, they’re our best wireless headphones yet,” Director of Product Marketing & Communications Andy Kerr said.
The Px7 S2 is priced at $399 USD and launched today in black, blue and grey. The headphones are available on the Bowers & Wilkins website and at select dealers. Later this year, Bowers & Wilkins will unveil a flagship model, the Px8.
