A hallmark of Alexander McQueen’s menswear lines is its commitment to refined dress codes. Where tailoring reigns supreme, the men’s Fall 2022 collection furthers this agenda while inserting contemporary design elements.
Classic suiting appears in double-breasted constructions with structured proportions and elevated fabrics. Adding another layer of appeal to suiting are heatmap graphics and beaded detailing. A highlight of the suit offerings is a crimson red ensemble with cropped double-breasted layering and a high-low construction. Outerwear pieces like overcoats are cast in houndstooth and solid-color wool fabrications with asymmetrical hems, single-button closures and leather belted detailing. For a diversion from wool, a polyester kimono-inspired trench coat also appears in beige.
Continuously evolving gendered dress notes, the collection features a black crumpled, one-shoulder dress with beaded detailing. Elsewhere in the collection are button-down shirts, knitwear and slim-fit trousers.
