Malbon and AKILA Drop a Golf-Inspired Eyewear Collection

Following a collaboration with Dockers, contemporary lifestyle brand Malbon Golf joins forces with Los Angeles-based eyewear brand AKILA for a versatile eyewear collection accented with golf tee hardware. Founded in 2017, Malbon Golf seeks to inspire today’s youth to try their hand at “the greatest game on Earth.” For the upcoming series, Malbon’s easy-going playful curation is combined with AKILA’s modern aesthetics and dedication to quality craftsmanship through the introduction of two new eyewear silhouettes.
The first introduction is two new iterations of the sporty Hunter A 2128 sunglasses which feature wrap-around lenses, air vents, and a stainless steel frame with acetate temples. For a more classic look, two takes of the Heritage A 2129 sunglasses are available in black and turtle shell bio-acetate frames, offering eco-conscious durability and comfort. 5-barrel hinges and steel temple cores provide strength and flexibility, meanwhile, optical-quality nylon lenses offer 100% UVA/UVB protection. All frames come with a custom Malbon cleaning cloth and a cork-leather carrying case with a carabiner attachment.
