Kid Cudi Teases First 'Entergalactic' Single "Do What I Want"

After almost three years, the first single from Kid Cudi‘s upcoming album Entergalactic has received a release date.

Cudder took to social media to tease a track entitled “Do What I Want,” with the poster bearing the word Entergalactic at the very bottom. “‘DO WHAT I WANT’ Friday,” he wrote in the caption, “its all happening… The beginning.” He added, “Do What I Want was the first song I did w Day Trip and I locked in w them heavy shortly after to make MOTM3. Im really happy ull finally get to hear it.”

Entergalactic will serve as Cudi’s next album after Man on the Moon III: The Chosen and will also be the title of his upcoming Netflix series. Details about both the record and the show are still under wraps, but the artist has evidently been very excited for fans to both listen to the album and watch the series. He did, however, recently share a teaser of the possible characters appearing on the Netflix series.

In September 2021, he called Entergalactic as “next level shit” and told fans to remain patient. “Wait til yall hear and see Entergalactic. U have no idea,” he tweeted. “I really wanna thank Kenya Barris, Mike Moon, Elizabeth Porter and the whole team for believing in my vision and helping bring it to life. Everything about this show is next level. Ull see.”

Kid Cudi’s “Do What I Want” drops June 10.
