Early Glimpse of the Air Jordan 3 Winterized "Archaeo Brown"

Water-resistant suedes and Sashiko stitching grace the classic model.

Footwear products that are intentionally designed to ward off slippery terrain typically come with bulky bodies and over-technical aesthetics, but Jordan Brand‘s ongoing Winterized flips the script in helping you be fly and protective at the same time. We’ve seen this treatment land on various silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 4 and Air Jordan 14, and now the Air Jordan 3 is getting its moment to be reinforced with harsh weather-ready materials.

This forthcoming installment steers away from the customary fabrics that we’re used to seeing on the Tinker Hatfield-designed offering. Tumbled leather side walls are swapped for a water-resistant suede material that’s drowned in “Archaeo Brown” while the overlays substitute the usual cement patterns for intricate Sashiko stitching. Subtle notes of dusted pink touch down on the mudguards, and perforated panels near the throat and heel counters while a “Light Bordeaux” hue spills onto the lower throat and collars.

Enjoy a first glance at the pair above and note that early reports have these scheduled for an October 8, 2022 release for Nike and other affiliated retailers. Retail is set at $210 USD.
