Nike is no stranger to redesigning its models and combining various elements of their design vocabulary. The Air Max Terrascape Plus emphasizes sustainability in its material composition and is another entry into the Terrascape series which includes other Air Max models such as the Air Max 97 and Air Max 90. Using the Air Max Plus silhouette, Nike created a familiar shape that’s refreshed with updated technology.

Key features revolve around Nike’s commitment to sustainability. Repurposing end-of-life shoes and manufacturing scrap into usable materials is the mission of Nike Grind, an initiative that supplies the uniquely patterned sole in this release. Beyond that, recycled polyesters are found in the upper with the shoe carrying 20% recycled materials by weight. Various shades of green can be found on this pair, including bright green Swooshes subtly resting below the grey TPU cage. A brown tongue and laces offer a pop of color to complete the earth-centric look.

Keep an eye out for this colorway to be available via Nike and select retailers in the near future at a retail price of $185 USD.

In case you missed it, the Nike ACG Air Mada is releasing in “Light Stone.”
