Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum has entered the Web3.0 space, hosting a “Captain On Ice Night” Happy Hour at the first-ever VeeCon, Gary Vaynerchuk’s superconference, on May 20. With this venture into the world of Web3.0, Captain Morgan is creating a space for rum and spirits enthusiasts to be the first to access the latest drops and digital collectibles, fostering a digital community that inspires consumers to celebrate their original spice and enjoy their favorite spiced rum.

At the “Captain On Ice Night” Happy Hour, the brand launched its first POAP (Proof of Attendance Protocol) and dropped exclusive merchandise inspired by the “Captain On Ice” partnership with celebrity jeweler, Ben Baller. While attendees had a chance to claim a digitally iced-out POAP, the brand also unveiled the final, gold diamond-encrusted “Captain On Ice” chain custom-made and designed by Ben Baller, which was donned by two-time NBA All Star, Serial Investor & Entrepreneur, Founder of More Than Us Venture Studio, Baron Davis, over the VeeCon weekend. Plus, Captain Morgan is giving one lucky fan over the age of 21 a chance to win the custom chain.

The “Captain On Ice” collaboration is made up of a series of iced-out chains, designed by Baller that combines the aesthetic of Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum and his own personal flavor. Since the partnership began in 2021, Captain Morgan and Ben Baller have dropped four original iced-out chains, and now fans have a chance to win the final one-of-a-kind chain.

From May 22 to 27, fans can follow Captain Morgan and Ben Baller on Instagram to find out how to enter the sweepstakes. More information and full sweepstakes rules can be found by heading to the Captain Morgan website.
