Luka Doncic led the Dallas Mavericks to a blow out win against the Phoenix Suns to advance to the NBA 2021 Western Conference Finals.

The Mavs dominated the entire game with a 123-90 win in Game 7. By halftime, the Suns only had 27 points, shooting a 24.4% season-low from the field. Doncic himself put up 27 points in the first half alone, placing the Mavs ahead with a 30-point lead, the largest ever Game 7 halftime lead. By the end of the fourth quarter, the Mavs led by 42 points, the largest deficit the Suns have faced all season. While Doncic finished the game with 35 points, 10 rebounds and four assists, Spencer Dinwiddie scored 30 points off the bench.

Suns’ stars Devin Booker and CP3 were unable to connect, both shooting a combined 0-for-11 from the arc. Booker finished the game with just 11 points and Paul with just 10. In the final six minutes of the game, a chant of “Let’s Go Mavs” can be heard in the Phoenix arena. This marks Dallas’ fifth appearance in the Western Conference Finals in the history of the franchise and their first time since 2011.

Earlier on Sunday, the Boston Celtics dethroned the Milwaukee Bucks to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals. The Celtics will take on Miami Heat while the Mavs will take on Golden State Warriors.
