JJJJound and MAD et LEN Launch Graphite-Scented Candles
Arriving in hand-forged burned iron jars.
Originally launched in 2006 as a digital mood board that aimed to examine the recurring patterns in timeless design, JJJJound has built a brand around its immaculate curation to become one of the most sought-after collaborators in contemporary footwear and apparel.
Its latest project taps French perfume house MAD et LEN for a special candle set that explores the olfactory world of JJJJound, introducing a “BOUGIE GRAPHITE” scent that teases notes of sleek graphite, chalk, and cut wood. The MAD et LEN blackened iron jars are hand-forged by artisans through a slow-burning process and the perfume is developed using only raw, natural ingredients and 100% plant-based wax. The candles are individually numbered and validated and feature a handmade knobbed lid.
The JJJJound x MAD et LEN candles are now available at the JJJJound website and select dealers for $165. The burn time for each jar is approximately 65 hours.
