A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 2 Retro SP “Airness”

Expected to drop on May 13, the latest Air Jordan 2 iteration pairs cracked white leather with black snakeskin paneling near the midsole. The collage of textures continues with burgundy piping at the heel counter and outsole, followed by a translucent gray mudguard. Black accents appear at the laces, quilted interior lining and the Air Jordan logo on the tongue. “Maniére” is stamped in white lettering on the leather heel tab.
A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 3 “Raised By Women”

The highly-anticipated Air Jordan 3 followed the release of the short film Raised by Women, which served as a visual prelude to the sneaker’s September arrival. An ode to powerful women and familial figures, “Raised by Women” introduced the Air Jordan 3 in extended sizes, first available exclusively to women through a raffle. A revamped upper in white, pebbled leather showcases light grey suede overlays at the eyestays, counter heel and toe cap. Soft cream eyelets stand out against the white laces, grey midsole and Swoosh branding at the heel. Embroidered A Ma Maniére and Jumpman logos sit atop each tongue, equipped with quilted lining at the counter and collar.
A Ma Maniére x Ultra 4D “Black”

A Ma Maniére teamed up with adidas in 2021 on the stealthy Ultra 4D “Black,” defined by a blacked-out Primeknit upper featuring a Three Stripes suede overlay. Utilizing mixed materials, the textural dimension at play comes courtesy of the web-like 4D midsole, the perforated heel tab, light grey threading at the tongue and a marbleized heel insert showcasing mutual branding. “Ultra4D” lettering at the heel represents the sneaker being part of adidas’ Futurecraft 4D lineup.
A Ma Maniére x Air Jordan 1 High OG “Airness”

Clad in off-white suede, “Airness” was a distinct departure from the leather body of the Air Jordan 1. Pops of burgundy snakeskin offset the upper, repeated throughout the Swoosh and counter collar, which features Michael Jordan’s signature. An inscription at the collar reads, “You have to expect things of yourself before you can do them.” The popular silhouette dropped in 2021 and championed facing adversity head-on through the lens of communal outreach.
A Ma Maniére x Air Force 1 Low ‘07 “Hand Wash Cold”

Continuing the brand’s affinity and use of multi-textural materials, the 2019 release “Hand Wash Cold” presented a predominantly jet black Air Force 1 Low accented by a frosted suede Swoosh. Tumbled leather provides contrast against the soft-touch upper, which features a perforated pattern applied throughout. Nike Air technology is embedded in the midsole, with the Air logo embossed along its side.

Following the ’07 “Hand Wash Cold” release, A Ma Maniére and Nike joined forces to design a high-top iteration composed of nubuck and pebbled leather uppers. Tonal gray and black components round out the smokey color scheme. The oversize velcro strap showcases an iridescent sheen. The raised fiber of the outer heel is juxtaposed with the pony hair Swoosh and nubuck quarter for a heightened sense of visual dimension. A Ma Maniére’s “A” is embossed at the outer heel, with Nike Air cushioning underfoot.
A Ma Maniere x N9000 “Novelle Peach”

The 2016 “Georgia Peach” brought together A Ma Maniére and Italian sportswear label Diadora, introducing two colorways of the N.9000 silhouette: “Novelle Peach” and “Brown Sugar.” A tribute to the Georgia peach, “Novelle Peach” arrived in a muted peach theme with caramel accents at the collar and outsole. Full-grain crinkle vegan leather comprises the lateral panels with tonal striations weaved throughout the uppers. “N9000” is debossed at the outer heel, with oversize Diadora lettering raised at the midsole. The monochromatic construction features A Ma Maniere’s “A” embossed at the tongue, completed with peach-toned laces.
