Diesel's SS22 Runway Denim Offers Cowboy Realness With Jean-Boot Fusion
Glenn Martens continues to break the mold.
Glenn Martens‘ Diesel continues to explore the world of denim with its just-released 1955 007A7 Straight Jeans style. As seen during the brand’s Spring/Summer 2022 presentation, this pair of denim is much more than just another straight jean, as its high waist and elongated legs morph directly into a boot.
The boot part is defined by its square-tip finish that’s covered in a layer of brown leather, sitting atop a black sole unit with a stacked heel. Working your way up, you’ll find this “Light Blue” pair of jeans go all the way past one’s bellybutton, sitting high with a metal button fly and authentic ’90s styling touches — such as the branding on the interior of the pocket — for a design that’s fit for the runway, cowboys, or 1950’s rockers.
Elsewhere, we find Diesel’s signature of approval and authenticity on the tan-colored Jacrons tab, while zippers on the inseam round things out.
Diesel’s 1955 007A7 Straight Jeans retail for £995 GBP (or $1,250 USD in the U.S.) and can be bought from Diesel’s website now while stocks last.
