Dominique Ansel Bakery Readies Cronut(R) NFT Collection
Marking the ninth birthday of the pastry.
New York City’s Dominique Ansel Bakery by James Beard Award-winning pastry chef Dominique Ansel, is set to launch a “Cronut(R)” NFT collection. The series of limited-edition serves to help mark the ninth birthday of the iconic pastry created by Chef Dominique Ansel. The Cronut(R) NFT collection features the bakery’s most popular flavors from over the years and allows guests local and abroad to connect with the sweet treat.
The release will feature 60 NFTs to start, with five flavors and a special collage of Dominique Ansel Bakery’s May flavors (since the Cronut launched in May 2013), limited to 10 editions of each. The flavors include Salted Dulce de Leche (Nov 2013), Burnt Vanilla & Smoked Caramel (April 2016), Strawberry & Lemon Verbena (June 2017), Meyer Lemon & Wildflower Honey (July 2019) and Guava & Orange Blossom (May 2021).
